Department of Finance and General Services

Duties and responsibilities of the Department of Finance and General Services shall be, as follows: ∙ Manage and maintain information on Ministry’s human resources, assist in the management of internal organisation, provide administrative and logistical support and information technology services; ∙ Ensure the implementation of procedures for the selection and recruitment of qualified staff in line with legislation in force; ∙ Coordinate the preparation, implementation, reporting and assessment of Ministry’s budget; ∙ Coordinate the timely execution of Ministry’s financial obligations; ∙ Maintain information technology equipment and provide information technology services; ∙ Manage Ministry’s archive system and internal documents; ∙ Provide logistical services, manage and maintain Ministry’s working space. ∙ Head of the Department of Finance and General Services shall be accountable to the General Secretary. ∙ This Department shall comprise the following divisions; ∙ Division of Human Resources; ∙ Division of Budget and Finances; ∙ Division on Information Technology and Logistical Services. ∙ Number of staff in the Department of Finance and General Services shall be thirty (30).
