Among other things, Minister Tahiri informed Sir Duncan about the progress of the reforms undertaken so far, especially in the processes related to the review of criminal and civil law legislation. They also discussed the new legislative approach to prioritized areas related to the rule of law.
The focus of the discussion was also the possibility of further consolidation of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of international legal cooperation, with the purpose of harmonizing the actions resulting from the consolidation of the rule of law in Kosovo.
They agreed that, given that organized crime and corruption have a transnational character, it is vital that actions to combat these negative phenomena for society also have interstate harmony.
Minister Tahiri expressed high consideration for Sir Duncan and the United Kingdom as one of the partner countries of Kosovo, whose commitment is continuous in the consolidation of Kosovo, apart from the strengthening of the rule of law.
