Minister Hoxha signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kosova Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims

The signatories have agreed to cooperate for a one-year period, allowing access to correctional facilities in accordance with the provisions of the applicable law and the applicable rules, including the provision of counseling and legal assistance to persons deprived of their liberty.

Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the parties agree that members of the Kosova Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims be allowed to visit all correctional institutions in Kosovo. At the end of the meeting, Minister Hoxha thanked Ms Rushiti and all the staff of the Center for willing to conclude this Memorandum of Understanding. Rushiti, on the other hand, praised Minister Hoxha on the work done so far and pledged for further cooperation with the Ministry of Justice.
