Minister Hoxha hosts the Bavarian State parliamentarians

Prishtina, 29/06/2017

Minister Hoxha pointed out the commitment of the Ministry of Justice in meeting its priorities, such as strengthening the rule of law, transparency, and accountability. In particular, the Minister noted the importance of legal cooperation and the acquisition of best practices from European countries in the field of justice.

 “We have challenges but we also have achievements in the field of justice that produce tangible results, and for this I congratulate Germany too for having stood by us to establish a more effective and impartial justice system and empower the rule of law. Germany has made a great contribution in this direction”, said Minister Dhurata Hoxha, pointing out the legal reform support and the priority of implementing the integration process.

The member of the state parliament and head of the delegation, Mrs. Sylvia Stierstorfer, pointed remarked that Kosovo will have their support in the process of advancing the field of justice. She also expressed their commitment to provide the necessary legal expertise, in particular for the Civil Code that is in an ongoing drafting process, and also support legal empowerment through different projects.
