US continues to support the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia

Prishtina, 28/02/2013

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Prof. Dr. Hajredin Kuçi, today hosted a delegation of the US Embassies in Prishtina and Belgrade, headed by Lee Litzenberger, Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy in Belgrade.

At this meeting, they discussed on the cooperation between Kosovo and the United States of America in the field of justice and praised the US support given to Kosovo in this area.
They also discussed the issue of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, whereas Minister Kuçi expressed his willingness about this dialogue and asked the US to actively support the dialogue.

On the other hand, representatives of the American Embassy expressed their willingness to support the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, and also to separately contribute to the parties participating in this dialogue.

Minister Kuçi also stressed the need and expressed his readiness for cooperation with Serbia in the fight against organized crime.
