Ministry of Justice of Kosovo and the Ministry of Justice of Croatia, soon with the agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters

Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kosovo, Bedri Bahtiri and Director of the Department for International Legal Cooperation, Arber Gegaj hosted a delegation of the Department for International Legal Cooperation and European Integration, of the Ministry of Justice the Republic of Croatia, headed by director Kristijan Turkalj.

In a friendly meeting, the representatives of both ministries have negotiated and agreed with the text of the agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, which is expected to be signed very soon.

It was also discussed the agreement for transfer of sentenced persons, which is expected to be finalized in the next round of negotiations.
