The Acting Minister of Justice, Mr. Blerim Sallahu, and his Political Advisor, Ms. Vlora Limani- Hajnuni, visited today the Center for the Protection of Women and Children (CPWC).
He was briefed by the Center’s Director, Zana Hamiti Asllani, about the work of the CPWC, the challenges they face and needs related to providing services for victims of violence, and the current conditions in which this shelter operates.
In this context, the Minister Sallahu emphasized the commitment of the Justice Ministry for Social and Family Services, recalling that the budget for these services has been increased to 2.5 million euros. He stated that this support aims to strengthen the capacities of shelters and to improve access to services for all categories seeking protection.
