The new judicial expert certification ceremony took place today at the Ministry of Justice, marking a significant step in the justice system of the Republic of Kosovo.

In the assessment of the acting Minister of Justice, Blerim Sallahu, judicial experts constitute one of the important pillars the justice system, whose role is directly linked to strengthening rule of law, the credibility of justice and legal certainty for citizens.

“As you get certified today, what you will be awarded with are not only documents or professional statuses, but rather public responsibilities. A responsibility requiring you to be impartial, accurate and to be brave in protecting the professional truth, even when it may not be easy or convenient to certain parties”, said Acting Minister Sallahu.

“Being aware of the challenges faced by judicial experts, the political and institutional commitment consists in strengthening their role, protecting professional integrity and creating conditions for the work of judicial experts to be valued and respected in accordance with its importance for the justice system.

“In certifying you today, we reaffirm our belief that judicial experts will be worthy partners of justice, active contributors to strengthening the rule of law and protectors of a legal and democratic state professional standards”, said Sallahu.

Wishing them success in the exercise of their duties, the acting Minister of Justice, wished that their work will always be guided by professional truth, ethics and responsibility towards society.
