“Vocational Training Centers are a key component of employment policies and cannot remain institutions that produce only certificates. They must serve as a direct pathway into the labour market,” stated Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla during her visit to the Vocational Training Center in Ferizaj, where she met with the center’s representative, Ms. Fatmire Salihu.

During the meeting, discussions focused on current training programs, existing capacities, and the need to strengthen cooperation with the private sector in order to ensure that training programs are aligned as closely as possible with the real demands of the labour market.

The importance of increasing the effectiveness of vocational training programs was also emphasized.

“In this regard, it remains essential to enhance the effectiveness of vocational training programs through continuous alignment with labour market dynamics, ensuring that the skills acquired translate into real employment opportunities and effective integration into the labour market,” Minister Gërvalla concluded.
