Contract Management Division

The Contract Management Division’s mission is to manage and provide support in the administration of the Ministry’s contracts in the capacity of contracting authority in relation to contract managers and/or economic operators, according to the relevant public procurement law.

The duties and responsibilities of the Contract Management Division are:

  • Recommends the form of management of related contracts, according to the relevant law on public procurement;
  • Manages the implementation of contracts, as well as the performance evaluation of contractors, in accordance with the relevant law on public procurement;
  • Provides support to the contract manager and/or project manager about managing the implementation of contracts, as well as evaluating the performance of contractors in accordance with the relevant law on public procurement, including those of performance, submission of relevant documentation, fulfillment of payments and other obligations before the contract closing date;
  • Assists in drafting plans for contract management;
  • Assists in the management of admission procedures;
  • Ensures adequate control of costs, quality, and time where appropriate, in Ministry contracts;
  • Ensures that administrative activities related to contract management are recorded in the relevant electronic system;
  • In collaboration with the contract manager and/or project manager, prepare reports about the dynamics and/or progress of the contracts, and
  • Performs other duties defined by the legislation in force.

The Head of the Contract Management Division reports to the Secretary-General.
