The mission of the Department for the Supervision of the Legality of the Work of Free Professions is to ensure quality operation and in accordance with the law of free professions.

The duties and responsibilities of the Department for Oversight of the Labor Legality of Free Professions are:

• Supervises the legality of the work of private executors, notaries and mediators, as well as other free professions in accordance with the legislation in force;
• Draws up reports and offers recommendations, as well as information related to the supervision of the legality of the work of independent professions and the operation of independent professions in general;
• Orders measures and initiates disciplinary procedures against free professions in accordance with the law;
• Prepares instructions for the supervision of the legality of free professions;
• Proposes and provides support in the drafting of policies and legislation for the supervision of liberal professions.
• The Director of the Department for the Supervision of the Legality of the Work of Free Professions reports to the General Secretary.

The Department for the Supervision of the Legality of the Work of Free Professions consists of the following divisions:

• Division for the Supervision of Legality of the Work of Private Executors;
• Division for the Supervision of the Legality of the Work of Notaries, Mediators and other free professions.

Division for Oversight of the Legality of the Work of Private Executors

The duties and responsibilities of the Division for Supervision of the Legality of the Work of Private Executors are:

• Draws up the work plan for the supervision of the legality of the work of private executors;
• Implements supervisory activities of the legality of the work of private executors;
• Prepares relevant documents, reports and provides information related to the supervision of private executors;
• Orders measures to eliminate defects in the work of the private bailiff and initiates disciplinary proceedings against the private bailiff;
• Cooperates with the Chamber of Private Executors, other relevant bodies and institutions in the process of supervising private executors and building capacities in this regard;
• Prepares guidelines, manuals, manuals and other guidance documents for the supervision process;
• Provides support in drafting policies and legislation for the supervision of private bailiffs, including procedure and standards, and Manages the database for supervising the work of private bailiffs.
• The Head of the Division for the Supervision of Legality of the Work of Private Bailiffs reports to the Director of the Department for the Supervision of the Legality of the Work of Free Professions.

Duties and responsibilities of the Division for Oversight of the Legality of the Work of Notaries, Mediators and other free professions:

• Draws up the work plan for the supervision of the legality of the work of notaries, mediators and other free professions;
• Implements supervisory activities of the legality of the work of notaries, mediators and other free professions;
• Prepares relevant documents, reports and provides information related to the supervision of notaries, mediators and other free professions;
• Orders measures to eliminate defects in the work of notaries, mediators and other free professions and initiates disciplinary procedures against them;
• Cooperates with the Chamber of Notaries, the Chamber of Mediators, other relevant bodies and institutions in the process of supervising notaries, mediators and other free professions, as well as capacity building in this regard;
• Prepares guidelines, manuals, manuals and other guidance documents for the supervision process;
• Provides support in the drafting of policies and legislation for the supervision of notaries, mediators and other independent professions, including the procedure and standards in this regard, and
• Manages the database for the supervision of the work of notaries, mediators and other free professions.

The Head of the Division for Oversight of the Legality of the Work of Notaries, Intermediaries and other independent professions reports to the Director of the Department for Oversight of the Legality of the Work of the Free Professions.
