The mission of the Inspectorate is to supervise the work of Correctional Institutions and Regional Probation Directorates in order to ensure the unique system of execution of criminal sanctions.

The organizational structure of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice is as follows:
• Office of the Executive Director;
• Divisions

The Office of the Executive Director consists of:
– Executive Director;
– Senior legal officer;
– Administrative officer

The following divisions operate within the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice:
o Division for the supervision of Correctional Centers;
o Division for the supervision of Detention Centers;
o Division for the supervision of Regional Testing Directorates.
