Deputy Minister of Justice Genc Nimoni, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice Ridvan Hoti, received today the Ambassador of France in Kosovo Olivier Guérot and representatives of the French agency for international cooperation and development “Expertise France”, Ms. Pauline Girerd, Ms. Armelle Giraud, Ms. Sarah Shaar and Mr. Cyril Lacombe.
During this meeting, Deputy Minister Nimoni presented the results that have been achieved in the justice reform and the progress noted by the Republic of Kosovo in international reports in the field of the rule of law.
Mr. Nimoni highlighted the advancement of the reform in the prosecutorial and judicial system, the Vetting process, the finalization of the Draft Law on the State Bureau for the Verification and Confiscation of Unjustified Assets, the finalization of the legal package of the reform, and the functionalization of the Commercial Court and the Administrative Court.
In addition, Deputy Minister Nimoni underlined the importance of digitalizing the justice system, stressing the advancement of the Case Management Information System (CMIS), the digitalization of licensing processes for liberal professions, application procedures for the Bar Exam, and the further development of electronic services in the justice sector.
On the other hand, representatives of “Expertise France” took their interest to continue their support for future priorities under the framework of the IPA 2026–2027 program, with a focus on the rule of law, the fight against corruption, and the advancement of digitalization processes and the justice system.
