Visiting Switzerland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla had a meeting with Albanian lawyers and advocates working in the country, calling them a strong support on the journey to achieving a strong legal state.
Minister Gërvalla praised highly their professionalism and integrity, and stressed out that their experience in the challenges and successes of the Swiss legal system constitutes an irreplaceable asset for our institutions.
“Their professional network is an extraordinary opportunity for coordination, exchange of knowledge and joint projects with the Chamber of Advocates and justice institutions in Kosovo, as an auxiliary instrument for strengthening legal structures and advancing justice,” she declared.
Such meetings, as Minister Gërvalla emphasized, remind us that our diaspora is an extraordinary reservoir of knowledge with the potential to build a strong and efficient justice system.
“Their readiness to contribute to the development of justice in Kosovo is an extraordinary opportunity that must be channeled into our institutional strategies, to consolidate a legal state that respects the highest standards and a justice system that is truly responsive to all citizens,” concluded Minister Gërvalla.
