Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Donika Gërvalla, attended the closing ceremony of the “Future Makers” program, which was completed by 21 young people at the Lipjan Juvenile Correctional Center.

While handing out certificates during the ceremony, Minister Gërvalla expressed her satisfaction with the progress and enthusiasm of these young people.

“NGO BONEVET Prishtina, in cooperation with Japan Tobacco International, offered 21 young people at the center the opportunity to learn the basics of robotics and programming, as well as to develop skills in cooperation, communication, and problem-solving,” she said.

Minister Gërvalla also visited the Correctional Education Center, where, as she said, efforts have been intensified to prepare young people for a life free from criminal offences in the future through various educational programs.

“A special thank you goes to the correctional officers and all those who spare no effort in their daily work to pave the way for these young people through additional training,” declared Minister Gërvalla.
