Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Donika Gërvalla, visited the organization “Linja e Jetës”, the only suicide prevention center in Kosovo, which has been operating on a voluntary basis since 2019.
During the visit, Minister Gërvalla praised the work and continued commitment of the center’s staff and volunteers, who provide emotional and psychological support every day to citizens in need.
In this regard, Minister Gërvalla emphasized that mental health requires attention, care, and meaningful access to support, adding that speaking up is a step forward and being heard is the beginning of healing.
“I would like to thank the Executive Director, Mr. Bind Skeja, as well as all the volunteers of this center, for the warm welcome and especially for the dedication, responsibility, and humanity they demonstrate every day in the service of saving lives,” she said.
In conclusion, Minister Gërvalla conveyed the message that seeking help is not a weakness and encouraged everyone in need to contact “Linja e Jetës” for support every day from 18:00 to 22:00.
