Minister Gërvalla: Social Inclusion Must Be Felt in Citizens’ Daily Lives

Prishtina, 20/05/2026
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Donika Gërvalla, together with Mr. Artan Asllani, former deputy representing minority communities, visited the organization “The Ideas Partnership,” which through its daily work provides support and care for children, women, and families within the community.
During the visit, they witnessed firsthand the work and dedication of this organization in creating a safe and supportive environment for those facing social and economic challenges.
The organization’s activities remain focused on continued care for children, the empowerment of women, and support for families in need of solidarity, care, and genuine social inclusion.
“What makes this work special is not noise, but constant presence and warmth. Children who find care and a safe place to begin life with greater peace of mind. Women who receive support at the moments when they most need strength and dignity. Families who are not left alone when facing difficulties that often seem too heavy to bear on their own. It is a chain of care that never breaks, but instead gives shape to real inclusion,” Minister Gërvalla said.
Furthermore, Minister Gërvalla stated that social inclusion should not remain merely a concept, but must translate into concrete presence and direct support for citizens.
“This is social inclusion in its simplest and truest form — being close to people, wholeheartedly and with genuine care. And precisely for this reason, as institutions, it remains our clear commitment to support, strengthen, and expand these models of presence and care. Because where there is genuine closeness to people, social inclusion no longer remains a concept on paper, but becomes a lived reality felt in the everyday lives of children, women, and families, regardless of background,” Minister Gërvalla declared.
At the conclusion of the visit, Minister Gërvalla expressed gratitude for the commitment and continuous work of “The Ideas Partnership,” which through concrete actions is demonstrating the importance of solidarity, dedication, and support for the community.
