Today I hosted the United States Chargé d’Affaires in the Republic of Kosovo, Ms. Anu Prattipati, with whom we discussed deepening cooperation on key justice priorities.

Vetting of justice system and the full operationalization of the Bureau for the Verification and Confiscation of Unjustified Assets comprise crucial measures to restore public trust. The fight against corruption and organized crime remains our mandate core priority. In particular, we also discussed strengthening capacities against cybercrime and increase of cybersecurity, a new field implementing the rule of law and protecting national security.

The Republic of Kosovo partnership with the United States of America is of significant importance for each reform stage since the rule of law is built through internal determination and strategic support by friendly countries. Kosovo needs justice that works, with no compromise or integrity violation.
