Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Ms. Donika Gërvalla, traveled to Brussels today on an official visit at the invitation of the Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Belgium, Ms. Annelies Verlinden.

As part of the official meeting between the two ministers, an international agreement will be signed. During the visit, Minister Gërvalla will also hold meetings with representatives of justice institutions and Belgian authorities, with the aim of further strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and the exchange of best practices in the field of the rule of law.

This visit to Brussels, followed by the signing of the Agreement, is considered an important step in the intensification of legal cooperation in criminal matters between the Republic of Kosovo and the Kingdom of Belgium, as well as the deepening and advancement of bilateral relations, especially in the field of justice and international legal cooperation.
