In the light of collaborative meetings with ambassadors of EU countries accredited in Kosovo, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Prof. Dr. Kuçi, today held a meeting with Ambassador of France, Maryse DAVIET, in which discussed interstate cooperation between Kosovo and France, current politics and EULEX mission.

Minister Kuçi appreciated the cooperation which Kosovo institutions have had, in particular the Ministry of Justice, and continue to have with the Embassy of France and other institutions of this country operating in Kosovo, notably in the field of justice.

When discussing about EULEX mission in Kosovo, two interlocutors praised the work of the mission, Minister Kuçi has reiterated his stance that the issue of EULEX mission should be defined as soon as possible. Also, stressed that it is in interest of justice to have agreements with Brussels soon regarding this matter, so that the matter is completed within the current mandate of Assembly of Kosovo.

The interlocutors discussed current political situation in Kosovo, expressing willingness to deepen cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and France.
