As part of activities marking the global campaign “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence”, in Prizren, the Acting Minister of Justice, Blerim Sallahu, visited the Center for the Empowerment and Protection of Children in Street Situations in Nashec.

Discussing with staff, Minister Sallahu reaffirmed the support of the Ministry of Justice for the organization Terre des Hommes, particularly with regard to the functioning of this center. He appreciated highly the work done by the coordinator, social workers, psychologists, teachers, and the mobile field team in providing services that meet the fundamental needs of children and their families.

Minister Sallahu visited the special facilities providing daily specialized services for around 200 children from non-majority communities. The services offered by the center include nutritious meals, games, educational and psychosocial activities, as well as various courses dedicated to parents, which contribute in their development and integration in different fields.
