The Ministry of Justice, in cooperation with the Kosovo Institute for Public Administration (IKAP), is conducting training on the topic “Protection of whistleblower rights in public administration”, with the aim of advancing the knowledge and professional capacities of public officials in the field of whistleblowers.

Being held at the Ministry of Justice, the training addresses the legal and institutional framework for the protection of whistleblowers, the procedures for receiving and handling whistleblower cases, as well as the responsibilities of persons and institutions involved in this process.

The training, among others, addresses the Law on Whistleblower Protection, the Regulation on determining the procedure for receiving and handling whistleblower cases, the Guide on the manner of conducting administrative investigations, as well as the guidelines for the protection of persons who report in the public interest.

It aims to strengthen whistleblowing mechanisms in public administration, increase effectiveness in handling cases, and promote an institutional culture that supports reporting violations and guarantees the protection of whistleblowers.
