Under the organization of the IRIS Network and the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB), there was held the Regional Conference “Western Balkans League – Social Dimension of EU Membership” in Podgorica, Montenegro, which brought together institutional and civil society
representatives from the Western Balkan countries.

During the conference, there was discussed the importance of strengthening the cooperation between state institutions and civil society in the function of building a sustainable and accessible social system for vulnerable groups.

On behalf of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kosovo, there participated Ms. Vlora Limani-Hajnuni, political advisor to the Minister of Justice, Mr. Blerim Sallahu, who emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo constitutes a good example in the region in terms of developing a full and functional partnership with civil society in the social field.

“The State of Kosovo has already built a sustainable system of partnership with civil society, not only during the legislative drafting phase, but also in the provision of direct services in the field of social and family services”, emphasized Ms. Limani Hajnuni.
