Norway interested to invest in justice, education and economy

Prishtina, 23/11/2011

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, prof. Dr. Hajredin Kuçi, met with the Ambassador of Norway in Kosovo, Jan Braathu, with whom he discussed the current situation in Kosovo and areas for cooperation.

During the meeting, Ambassador Braathu said that Kosovo will remain high on the priority list of the Norwegian state and expressed  interest in bilateral relations between the two countries. The Ambassador said that the special interest of his country for investment in Kosovo, are areas of justice, education and economy.

On the other side, Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi after  thanked the  Ambassador Braathu , for continued assistance that the Norwegian government is giving to Kosovo, requested assistance in addressing the challenges that have emerged from the Progress Report, and asked that the between the two countries to begin negotiations to conclude  agreements on international judicial cooperation.
