The Justice Ministry Transitional Justice Division had a roundtable meeting regarding the implementation of the Transitional Justice Strategy, with the purpose of promoting justice and protecting human rights.

It discussed the identification of opportunities to expand the support of Agency for Free Legal Aid to categories of victims, with special emphasis on those who suffered sexual violence during the war.

This activity is part of a series of roundtables and workshops supported by the NGO “INTEGRA” in the framework of the project funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo, which aims to promote the implementation of the Transitional Justice Strategy based on principles of Transitional Justice.

The event coincided with December 10, International Human Rights Day, and was part of the activities of the global campaign “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”.
