The swearing-in ceremony for 56 new judicial experts was held today, marking an important moment not only for judicial experts, but also for the justice system in the Republic of Kosovo.

Congratulating the new judicial experts for their dedication and commitment, the Deputy Prime Minister and Caretaker Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla stated the licensing of judicial experts meant that the justice system was enriched to new professionals who were ready to put their knowledge and expertise to the service of justice.

“The role of the judicial expert is irreplaceable. In many cases, it is precisely the expert’s professional assessment that helps to clarify the facts and make the right decisions. Therefore, the task you are taking on today is both an honor and a responsibility,” said Minister Gërvalla.

She added in every report and assessment they will draft they are expected to show integrity, impartiality and professionalism, values on which the credibility of judicial expertise is built.

“I am convinced that you will exercise this function with high responsibility and that you will be an important support for the institutions of justice and for citizens”, she said.

After the judicial experts were sworn in, Minister Gërvalla wished them success in their professional journey, and that their work will always be characterized by objectivity, responsibility and commitment to the truth.
