The 168 judicial experts who will contribute to building a clearer, more professional and more reliable system of judicial expertise had the swearing-in ceremony today.
On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla said this was an important moment not only for them and their families, but also for the justice system in the country.
Addressing the new judicial experts, the Minister said certification is a public responsibility for accuracy, impartiality and honesty, while maintaining integrity in their professional assessments.
“In certifying you today, we reaffirm the belief that you will be important partners of justice and active contributors to strengthening the rule of law in our country”, said the Minister.
The minister underlined the commitment to further improving and completing the legal and institutional framework related to the Law on Judicial Experts.
“We are aware of the challenges that judicial experts face. For this reason, our institutional commitment involves strengthening their role, protecting professional integrity and creating conditions in order for their work to be valued and respected properly”, said she.
Finally, Minister Gërvalla congratulated the new judicial experts on the exercise of their duties, encouraging them to always be guided by professional truth, ethics and responsibility towards society.
