Biography of the Acting Minister of Justice, Mr. Blerim Sallahu

 

Blerim Sallahu was born in Pristina, in September 1984.

He lives in Pristina, is married and has three children.

 

Mr. Sallahu, Acting Minister of Justice, completed his studies at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Law. He also pursued his Master’s studies at the University of Prishtina in Constitutional

Law.

 

He holds a Doctor of Science in Private International Law,  at of the most prestigious public universities of Law in Europe, that of Ankara University, Republic of Turkey.

 

 

For many years, he has served as a legal advisor in the Parliamentary Group of the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement. He also served as Chief of Cabinet of the Minister of Justice in the Kurti 1 Government, while since March 24, 2021, he has been appointed Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Justice in the Kurti 2 Government.

 

As of August 27, 2025, Dr. Blerim Sallahu, by decision of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, serves as the Acting Minister of Justice
