What is a Notary? A Notary is a professional lawyer, or public official, commissioned by the state and appointed by the Ministry of Justice to exercise notarial functions defined by law.
The notary is obliged to respect the Code of Ethics for notaries, and professional behavior in accordance with the oath given.
All notaries are ex-law members of the Chamber of Notaries. The Chamber of Notaries has been a full member of the International Union of Notaries (IUN) since 2013. Thanks to this, notarial acts are recognized by all IUN member states.
